Fresh, clean water could become
an issue, especially if local governments break down. Local governments are generally entrusted with
operating purification and supply systems, but in some areas it will likely become a problem if workers do not report.
The water may still flow, but the level of cleanliness will likely
become an issue, especially if national supply lines are disrupted. Bear in mind, that these facilities do not generally stockpile the chemicals needed to clean the water and rely on “just in time” deliveries like the rest of the nation. Once these chemicals are gone, it may be some
time before supplies are replenished. It is a simple task to clean water yourself. In fact, one cap of bleach to a gallon of water will suffice in most cases.
